Awards season isn’t over yet (the Grammys are on Sunday) but celebrities were out in force last Sunday at the Oscars. The couture riffs were popular on the main event red carpet. Zendaya appeared in a silver sequined ball skirt paired with a cropped white collared shirt by Valentino; Timothée Chalamet wore a blazer from Louis Vuitton’s womenswear collection with black pants; and Kristen Stewart wore a Chanel shorts suit with a largely unbuttoned shirt.

At vanity lounge after the party, the looks just kept coming. Whether it was commissioned by new Oscar winners like Ariana DeBose and Billie Eilish showing up in mini dresses, or Dakota Johnson in a feathered Gucci dress, the red carpet was not to be missed. Oh and let’s not forget Rihanna and her baby bump. At Jay-Z’s after-party, the superstar wore a sheer black Valentino gown that continued her killer maternity style streak.

Across the pond, the British royal family celebrated Prince Philip at a memorial service at Westminster Abbey. Queen Elizabeth, the Duchess of Cornwall and Princess Anne all wore forest green – the official livery color of the Duke of Edinburgh – for the service.

Finally, Patrick Demarchelier died at the age of 78 last week. The French fashion photographer, whose work is regularly featured in vogue throughout the 90s, 2000s and 2010s, he is survived by his wife Mia, his three sons and three grandchildren. Below, find the images of the week.
