Mary J. Blige stepped out for a night out at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn yesterday, and she wore her best Brooklyn-glam for the occasion. The 51-year-old star, alongside Misa Hylton, attended Game 3 of the playoffs between the Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics, turning serious eyes for the occasion.

For pitchside seating during the game, Blige wore a black satin bomber over a simple white t-shirt, pairing the look with faded skinny jeans. While the look was casual courtside, Blige completed it with patchwork denim knee high boots from Dolce & Gabbana. The “Cardinal Patchwork” shoes feature a 4 inch stiletto heel and intense denim details like pockets, stitching, belt loops, studs and more. Blige completed the denim ensemble with smoky eye makeup, wearing her long bleached locks in loose waves. The iconic hip-hop star also wore chunky, layered silver chain necklaces, bold rings, silver bracelets and large silver hoop earrings.
Blige, who was born in the Bronx and raised in Yonkers, was predictably rooting himself to the Brooklyn Nets. Other stars in attendance included Trevor Noah, Spike Lee, Gayle King and Questlove. The Nets, who are in a playoff series against the Boston Celtics, lost the game 109-103, though Blige did his best to inspire a win. A clip viral post on Twitter shows the star yelling at Nets point guard Kyrie Irving to “step it up.”

Blige seems to have an affinity for incredibly high heeled blue boots lately. She wore a pair of shimmering light blue thigh high boots to her album premiere party on February 11, then a pair of dark blue stiletto thigh high boots to promote the same album less than a month later on April 4.
